This beautiful 3 story home in Coquitlam was recently completed. The front of the home (not pictured) faces a very busy street. We added extra sound proofing on several windows, where we add 1/4″ glass pane and a 3/16″ glass pane increasing the STC to 35 (Sound Transmission Class) from standard glass panes of 1/8″ each. The two different thickness and thicker glass greatly increase sound reduction from traffic, planes and general noise. All the windows are also LoE366 over the standard LoE270 solar increasing the solar gain efficiency for this family and keeping their home cooler in the summer. The photo shows our bevel profile window with a renovation flange installed after the old aluminum frames were removed. The vinyl J channel remains in place.

We also changed the rear windows from sliders to picture windows, showcasing the incredible view of Mt Baker and the Fraser Valley. We added single hung sliders with an equal split on each side for venting.

With a mix of sliders, single hung windows, amazing picture windows, and a huge 9FT patio door, this customer is very please with the results!!
